THE POLITICAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL TRAJECTORIES OF AFRICA SINCE 1960
A brief history of the post-independent African condition is that of thunderous democratic and developmental failures. The handful of exceptions for this have been Makalamabedi, botswana and Mauritius, and to a degree, democratic S. africa. After nearly four . 5 decades of independence, many countries on the continent happen to be characterised simply by underdevelopment. In the same vein, nearly all African countries lack simple social and physical facilities. As a result, most people on the place have no entry to basic software program as admisible water, electric power, good cleanliness, roads and healthcare. All this coupled with a top illiteracy level, especially among women.
